From the moment I walked in the door for my pre-op testing, I have been nothing but impressed. The International Patient Office has been so helpful. They sent people to pick me and my guests up from the airport and droves us through the city to our hotel. They helped check us in. My coordinators from Travel for Care have handled my transportation to and from the hospital and doctor’s appointments. They have stayed with me when I’ve needed their support and translation services.
 
My surgeon is simply amazing, Dr. Horacio Guajardo couldn´t be more competent and friendly. His team is just as good as just comforting. Anyone who offers that the care here is different from the care at home, you are right. It is different. It is better! They are so attentive. The Hospital is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful. I have an amazing view of Cerro de la Silla outside my window.
 
I wish I could take the Hospital and all of its doctors, nurses and employees back home with me when I go.

I learned from HSJ through “in-law” relatives.

From my first contact with HSJ, through Ms. Fuentes, I was treated courteously and professionally. My questions were all answered and I was even able to communicate with my surgeon which is very difficult in the U.S.
The surgery price was as agreed upon. When unforeseen complications arose, HSJ continued their care for me, appropriate doctors were utilized proper treatment was undertaken, and the cost was reasonable.
I would go to HSJ again and would highly recommend them to anyone with medical needs, and this is a good recommendation because I live one hour from Mayo Clinic

Dr. José Castilleja was extremely helpful in setting up the appointment after a call from the US Consulate medical person.  He was, and is, extremely skillful and competent in his diagnosis and treatment.

My experience at hospital San José Tec de Monterrey was excellent!

The superior service began when I arrived at the airport and was met by a very professional personable representative from the hospital´s international program.  All pre-surgery tests had been scheduled in advance.  The efficiency of the staff in setting these tests completed was amazing.  Then I was taken to meet with a cardiologist and surgeon.

When I returned to the hospital for my operation I was very impressed with the staff.  The anesthesia staff was excellent as was everyone else in the operating room.  The surgeons are world class so I already had a lot of confidence in their ability.

The hospital room was spotless modern and spacious.  The nurses and aides on all shifts were very responsive to any request.

In summary the combination of excellent surgeons a modern beautiful hospital and a superior staff make the Hospital San José a great choice

Starting with meeting Dr. Treviño, and all through my stay at the hospital, everyone was very professional, caring and quick to respond to my needs.
Dr. Francisco Treviño took a lot of time with us to explain everything involved with my condition and the care that he recommended. He listened to our questions and answered then and always checked to make sure we didn’t have any more questions.

The nurses and other staff were very competent and friendly and always answered my calls right away. If I didn’t understand what they said in spanish, they would repeat it more slowly or in a different way or with gestures so that I could understand.

The hospital room itself was comfortable had everything I needed, and really quite beautiful. The food was delicious, and delivered on schedule.

The administrative people, Casandra and Sebastian, helped us a lot with understanding the hospital procedures and insurance . The fact that they speak English and that Dr. Treviño speak English, and that we didn´t have to go through a traslator, helped us to feel that we understood what was going on.

My stay at your hospital was superb. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The language barrier was no problem because of the information we were given to translate common sayings or request. My daughter, who is a RN in the states came with me and she was very impressed with the quality of service from the hospital staff and doctors. My room was extremely clean, large and pretty. We were treated with the utmost respect and comfort. I have nothing but good things to report about my treatment at your hospital. I would recommend the doctors and your hospital to anyone and have many times since my stay. I would like to say that my experience as a patient at Hospital San Jose Tec de Monterrrey was excellent. I was extremely pleased with all aspects of my care there. I am an American and used to the healthcare (or lack thereof) in the USA. I was impressed with the level of cleanliness from the beginning. Also, being from another country and not speaking the language was not a problem. Everyone treated me very professionally and the facilities were top notch.

When I first considered going to Mexico for surgery I was a little apprehensive. After doing the research I chose my doctor and hospital based on the good reputations of both. I was not disappointed.

I have also experienced the healthcare and hospitals in England and would say, without reservations, that the hospital and care at Hospital San Jose Tec de Monterrey was the best. I would definitely return there again if I needed surgery and would highly recommend them to everyone.
