Certifications and Awards

Hospital San José Tec de Monterrey’s quality and care services have obtained recognition in Mexico and internationally as a hospital of high standars. In addition, it has relationships with institutions in the United States that promote research, education and knowledge exchange.

• In December 2007, Joint Commission International accredited the Hospital for complying with international norms regarding safe and high-quality patient care.
• The Center of Multi-organ Transplants is the only one in Mexico that has been nationally certified by the Mexican Secretary of Health for carrying out all types of transplants in the Hospital and has been internationally certified by the National Marrow Donors Program® for bone marrow transplants.
• SIEMENS has recognized Hospital San José Tec de Monterrey as a Center of Excellence in Mexico.
• The Hospital has received certification from the Mexican Secretary of Health’s Board of General Health.
• Since 2007, the Hospital has attained the Distinctive H, a certification granted by the Mexican Secretary of Health through the Department of Alimentary Services for complying and exceeding with the hygiene standards required by the Official Mexican Norms.
• In 2004, during the Extraordinary Summit of the Americas, the White House selected the Hospital San José Tec de Monterrey as the hospital to be used in case of a medical emergency involving the President of the United States and/or members of his entourage.
